Meet Sevil

Sevil is the primary provider at Carmel Family Wellness and is dedicated to providing comprehensive, high-quality care to our local community. With a strong focus on preventative medicine and patient education, Sevil believes that the best healthcare happens when the provider and patient work as a team. Sevil has over 10 years of experience in general medical practice and urgent care. 

Education

Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) Certificate (2014–2016) George Washington University, School of Nursing Graduated in May 2016 and passed the National Certification Exam on June 30, 2016.

Master’s Degree in Pediatric Nursing (1998–2001) University of Istanbul, Institute of Health Sciences, Turkey Completed post-graduate studies at the Florence Nightingale Faculty of Nursing. Her thesis focused on "Relactation Education In the Mothers of NICU Babies with Partial or Complete Lactation Failure."

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (1990–1995) University of Istanbul, Florence Nightingale Faculty of Nursing, Turkey

Licensed Vocational Nurse Degree (1986–1990) Istanbul Validebag Anatolian Vocational Nursing School, Turkey
